To reserve the date for your cake I will require a £50 deposit (non-refundable) which will be deducted from the total on completion of your order. The cake will need to be paid for in full at least 2 weeks before the date for wedding cakes, or on collection for others.

You can reserve the date for your cake even if you don't know what you want. We can discuss all the details as soon as you're ready - perhaps you'd like to choose your flowers or bridesmaids' dresses first and have the cake made to match them.

For fruit cakes I need at least 6 weeks notice (preferably more, this is the absolute minimum) to allow for the cake to mature. Sponge cakes can be ordered nearer the day, with basic designs needing as little as 3 days notice.

For wedding cakes, I can provide you with taster samples to help you choose which flavours you'd like - you can come to me (appointment only) or I can come to your house. At this time we can also discuss the design of your cake and choose colours etc.
